Berna advises national and international clients on matters related to transport law, with a particular focus on aviation, as well as in the not-for-profit sector, where she assists associations with corporate and regulatory issues.
She holds an LL.M. in Maritime and Transport Law from Erasmus University Rotterdam, a Master’s degree in Civil and Criminal Law from the Université Libre de Bruxelles, and a Bachelor of Laws from UCLouvain Saint-Louis – Bruxelles.
During her studies, Berna gained international experience through internships abroad, including in Azerbaijan, focusing on private international law, and in Rotterdam, within a law firm specialized in transport law.
In addition to her academic and professional background, Berna has been actively involved in student initiatives, notably as a board member of the Trade and Transport Law Association, where she promoted and organized events connecting students with professionals from the transport industry.
She was admitted to the Brussels Bar in 2025.
Berna is fluent in French, English, and Turkish, and has a working knowledge of Dutch.
